Vaccination

We know that the strongest prevention strategy is vaccination. We ask that eligible staff and students consider vaccination. According to the Director of the Pittsylvania/Danville Health Departments, "Getting our children vaccinated is a critical step to protecting them from COVID-19, it will allow them to to return to normal activities. With a vaccination, our children can safely stay in school, visit family and friends, travel, and take part in extracurricular activities."

Currently, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is also approved for children ages 5-11.
