The DPS IT Department is here to help during the Covid-19 Pandemic crisis.  Below are several solutions created or modified to assist staff, families, and students.

Temporary Access to DPS Wifi

In response to Governor Northam’s order to close schools and to continue providing equitable access to learning opportunities, DPS is temporarily providing Wifi access outside of all schools. Families can access the filtered DPS GUEST WiFi network at all locations. Users are encouraged to remain in their vehicles or to use proper social distancing techniques.  DPS networks should only be used to access educational resources.  Click here for more information.

Student Chromebook Info

Student Chromebooks should be returned to your school for the summer.  We will sanitize, upgrade, and optimize the devices for re-deployment in the fall. 

Staff Help Desk

As always, DPS staff and teachers should use the DPS Help Desk to submit technology issues.  During this crisis, we will also offer support and guidance for issues with personal computers/devices being used for DPS Work to the best of our ability.  Please submit all requests through the DPS Help Desk.

Drive Up Tech Support

As of 6/1, Drive Up Tech Support is being discontinued.  Staff should continue to enter Help Desk tickets and any physical repairs can be made by appointment.
